Col de la Nostalgie
Want to feel like a real pro? Try your talents on our own cycling Col de la Nostalgia and relax afterwards on our cyclists terrasse at the back of the hotel.
Col de la Nostalgia has good asphalt with a proper finish line and finish board, with the names of famous cyclists written on the road and billboards along the route.
At the finish you can rest in the peaceful surroundings of our lovely bar-restaurant-terrace. Not only for our own guests, but also for guests from outside. You can use the pasta buffet, or choose from the menu. That includes something for everyone, from snacks to a real course. The chairs are the colors of the special jerseys, and the tables all carry the name of a Col with height. In the bar there are some national champion jerseys, recieved from the riders themselves.
On the terrace is a "monument" of the names of the winners of mountain stages in the vicinity of the past 100 years Tour de France. And on the monument are also many signatures of known pros and ex pros.
Furthermore in our small museum you can admire the photographs and newspaper clippings from the past 60 years Tour de France (thanks to the Limburgs Dagblad and Cyclo Sprint, Belgium). This museum also contains a famous collection of many bike-shirts of Alpe 'd Huez climbers from the hotel.
On the Col de la Nostalgia is the broad bicycle shed for our guests.
