Tours and visits
At 3 km the tiny little village of Venosc is defenitely worth a visit.
You can find some nice little stores where they still cut wood, work on leather, make honey and cheeses etc.
The hotel is on the road to la Berarde, a climbers paradise up in the mountains, at the other side of the Parc des Ecrins. It is truly one of the most beautiful roads in the whole area( although small and steep!).
Les Deux Alpes
During the seasons you can visit Les 2 Alpes easily; at Venosc 3 km from the Hotel is the skilift to the resort. Les 2 Alpes is a nice ski village, originally built in the fifties, and misses out on the modern purpose built flats of many of its contemporary resorts.
Les 2 Alpes has a lot of terraces and restaurants. In the summer as well as the winter season it's a lively village with a lot of things to do.
