Cycling holidays in France
The wellknown mountainpasses surrounding the hotel are:
- Alpe d' Huez
- Les 2 Alpes - Lautaret
- Galibier - d'Ornon
- Telegraphe - Vaujany
- Croix de Fer
In the hotel reception you will find a folder containing a large number of cycling iteneraries in the immediate surroundings, quite a number have diagrams of the mountainpasses, beautiful pictures and also information about other sporting possibilities in the neighbourhood of the hotel; rafting, swimming, skiing, hiking, tennis etc.
The hotel, in summer, is an attraction in itself; bikes everywhere, pictures of the famous riders and a wall of fame full of shirts many of the guests left us, complete with their time stamp for the infamous Alpe d' Huez route written on it!!
